Momlumi Privacy Policy

Welcome to Momlumi. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (“App”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the App includes:

Personal Data

Demographic and other personally identifiable information (such as your name and email address) that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the App or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the App.

Health Data

Information related to your pregnancy, including last menstrual period (LMP) date, weight tracking, symptoms, mood, and other related health logs. This data is primarily stored locally on your device to ensure maximum privacy and security.

Financial Data

Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that may be collected when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the App. All in-app purchases are handled securely by Apple’s App Store (via RevenueCat), and we do not store your direct financial information.

2. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide personalized pregnancy tracking and content (e.g., weekly updates, AI-driven reports).
• Process your purchases and subscriptions.
• Send you daily reminders, push notifications, and app updates.
• Respond to customer service requests.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our app, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT) - Apple’s Tracking Request

If you see a prompt asking, “Allow Momlumi to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites?”, this relates to Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

• If you Allow: It may be used for analytics or delivering personalized ads (if applicable in the future).
• If you Ask Not to Track: We will not access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA). Your experience within Momlumi will remain fully functional, but any future ads you might see would be generic rather than personalized. Momlumi currently does not track you across other companies’ apps for targeted advertising purposes.

4. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal and health information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
